Young Adult Christian Education Classes

Moody Methodist Church believes that participating in a LIFE Group (Living In Faith Every-day) is the best way for young adults, both single and married, to learn, grow and change in their Christian discipleship.

At present, we have two LIFE Groups that are geared specifically to young adults. One is for people who have been a Christian for a while and the other is for people who consider themselves new to the faith. Of course, young adults are always welcome to participate in any of our adult programming.
If you would like to know more about how young adults learn, grow and change from within LIFE Groups, please contact Charles Bagley for more information at (409)744-4526.

Sunday Morning is all about filling your life with the truth that will propel you towards Christ.  Every weekend you will find a place where you can be a part of a relevant Bible study or small group discussion with other students that you can relate to.  All students (5th – 12th) grade meet in the student center for a general assembly, and then separate into their different age groups.

Children's Christian Education Classes

We welcome your children to the Sunday School of Moody Methodist Church and we welcome you as partners in our ministry with children. We take seriously the task of making Christ and the Christian story known to children in a manner that nurtures them in their lifelong growth in faith. It is our belief that home and church are partners in nurturing children in their Christian growth.

Children's Curriculum

The children's Sunday School classes currently use the Live B.I.G. curriculum from Cokesbury. Live B.I.G. helps children see, hear and live their Belief in God and learn about his BIG Love.

If you wish to participate in this ministry, please contact Margarita Sims, Director of Children's Ministries, through the church office (409)744-4526 or email her at msims@moody.org; or you may contact Dolores Lyons, our Nursery and Childcare Coordinator, by phone (409)744-5845.
