Altar Guild

Members of the church who are interested in helping to form or serve on a Guild are asked to contact Joanne at joannes54321@sbcglobal.net or through the church office at (409)744-4526. Volunteers for all worship services are also needed.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN

Snack Suppers

People are needed to feed our amazing teenagers during Youth Group on Sunday nights! UMYF meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm in the Youth Center, and we eat at 5:30pm. The church provides plates, cups and drinks. If you or your Sunday school class is available to provide dinner, please contact Kate Solmonsson through the church office at (409)744-4526.

Children’s Church

The Children’s Council announces a new ministry of Moody Methodist Church for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Immediately following the Children’s moment during the Contemporary Worship Service, the children will go to the Multi-ministry room to learn more about God, the Bible and Christianity through interactive “Sermons” such as puppet plays and skits. Afterward, the children will rejoin their parents in the Worship Service. Adults and parents, if you wish to help or participate in this new ministry, please contact Renee Templer at renee@moody.org or call the church office.
