Join us in the sanctuary for a combined service with The Bridge as we celebrate Palm Sunday and Confirmation Sunday.

Join us at the Historic Galveston Water & Electric Light Community Center for a combined service with Galveston Central UMC. There will be dinner, worship, prayer stations, communion and fellowship.
March 29 | 7:00 PM | Sanctuary
The Chancel Choir will lead “A Service of Darkness” with music by composer Dale Wood. This Service of Darkness commemorates the suffering and death of Christ, and is based on the ancient Tenebrae.
Spoken meditations, based on the Seven Words from the Cross, are interspersed with musical interpretations. With each meditation, candles will be extinguished. But one lighted candle will remain at the end.
The Chancel Choir will be conducted by Director of Music Ministries Tracy Shirk, and accompanied by Joanna Whitsett at the organ.
