Moody Methodist Church is located in Galveston,Texas, on the northwest corner of 53rd St and Avenue U, two blocks north of Seawall Blvd.
From the mainland, you will travel south on I-45 across the Causeway onto Galveston Island. Continue on I-45 until it becomes Broadway. Turn right at 53rd Street. Travel one mile on 53rd Street until you reach Ave U. Moody Methodist Church is on the right.
From Seawall Blvd., turn north on 53rd Street and travel two blocks until you get to Ave. U. We are located on the northwest corner.
Parking is accessible from the 53rd Street entrance, as well as the Avenue U entrance. Ample handicap parking is available in the north and south parking lots.
Hours
On Sunday, the building is open from 8am - 12:30pm for worship services. We begin Sunday with an Informal worship service at 8:30am in the Sanctuary, followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45am. During the 11am hour, we have a Traditional, Contemporary and Spanish worship services throughout the building.
The church offices are open from 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. The church offices are located on the second floor and are accessible through the entrance from the north parking lot, by the playground.
During the week, we offer access to our Walking Track through the Christian Life Center Ministries from 7am - 8pm, Monday - Thursday, and 7am - 5pm on Friday. The Walking Track is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
The building is closed on Saturday.
