"Friends of Galveston State Park" program, Wesley Center, 7pm. Hostesses: Mary and Carole.

Movie ("Amazing Grace") in the Wesley Center (using alternate screen for better picture), 7pm. Hostesses: Karen and Polly.

June 24, 2008
Speaker Tricia Campbell, "A Woman in Afghanistan," Wesley Center, 7pm. Hostesses: Barbara and Jimmie.

Eat at Luby's, meeting at 6pm, at a long table at the back.

August 26, 2008
Education meeting: Carol will highlight the past year and indicate what is coming in the new school year, in the Wesley Center at 7pm. Bring school supplies for the homeless children. (Invite all church members to bring supplies.) Hostesses: Rayma and Jolene.

September 23, 2008
Very Merry Unbirthday Party at the Wesley Center, 7pm. Bring a $5 gift. Hostesses: Melba and Sharon.

October 28, 2008
Halloween party with costumes and prizes, covered dish dinner at the Wesley Center at 6pm. Invite a friend, spouse, or other. Hostesses: Carol and Karen.

November 25, 2008
Prepare gifts for Seamen's Center, Wesley Center, 7pm. Bring gifts that could be enjoyed by man or woman. Hostesses: Shirley and Pam.

December 15 (Monday), 2008
Meet at Gulf Health Care Center at 6pm to go caroling through the halls and give out candy canes (provided by Suzanne.) Then gather at Betty's house for "heavy hors d'oeuvres." Bring a husband, friend, choir member, musician, or other.

January 27, 2009
Planning meeting at the Wesley Center at 6pm, covered dish dinner, White Elephant gift exchange. Hostesses: Suzanne and Vivian.
