The Wave worship
Wednesday nights at 6pm in the Sanctuary
Wednesday evenings at Moody Methodist Church have a new look and feel. It’s a very exciting time to be a part of this church! This worship experience has a different feel from any of our other services. It is what we call a “hybrid-type” service. That is to say, it is both a worship experience and Bible study. We have some hymn singing, prayer time, communion (once a month), an in-depth lesson, and maybe even a quick “Q & A” session. We will begin by going through the sixteen chapters of Romans, which will probably take 6-8 weeks. After the completion of the Romans study, we welcome suggestions to continue a Bible study or teach on something topical. We really hope that you will be a part of this new worship experience!
The Living Room worship experience

The Living Room is a worship experience geared toward all college students and young adults in and around the Galveston area. We invite you to join us on this journey as we discover it is not about what we know, but what we are willing to admit we don’t. We are excited not only about what it is, but what it is becoming! As we are growing together in Christ, The Living Room is growing with us.
Here are a few things of which we are certain. The Living Room meets weekly for an exciting worship experience for college students and young adults that challenges our spirits and brings about an overwhelming desire to know God intimately. We want God to “chisel away” our preconceived notions about Him and allow us to see Him as He truly is and not how we think He ought to be. We want people to know they are welcome and feel genuinely accepted. We succeed and we fail. We extend grace and receive grace. We laugh and we weep…together. We are sinners. We need a Savior. Jesus is just that.
